Field Spaniel

The Field Spaniel shares common history with Cocker, Springer and Sussex Spaniels. In the late 1800's size differentiated Field from Cocker Spaniels. As a breed the Field Spaniel went through variations in type in its development, to become the dog seen today. They are 17-18 inches tall, 40-55 pounds. Colors include black, liver, golden liver, roan, or any of these with tan markings.
